The search operation for the missing fisherman was completed two weeks ago in the Eastern Administrative District

The EAO has decided to complete the search operation for a fisherman who disappeared on the Bijan River more than two weeks ago. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

The search operation proved fruitless, the rescue agency noted. IA EAOmedia explains that a boat with three men capsized while fishing. Two of them were wearing life jackets and were able to swim out, their friend disappeared under the water.

During the search operation, drones were used, and the bottom was examined. Relatives, police and volunteers took part in it.

On September 28, the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Krasnoyarsk Territory reported the loss of the Usoltsev family in the Minsk Loop area when they were heading to Mount Pinocchio. Over 515 km of forest roads and 40 square kilometers of woodlands were explored in search of the missing tourists. On October 12, the regional branch of the LizaAlert volunteer search and rescue team reported that the active phase of the search had been completed, but work would continue in the format of point tasks that would be performed by certified rescuers and professionals. On October 22, the Investigative Committee called the accident the main version of the disappearance of the Usoltsev family.
