The Russian military told about the rescue of 20 wounded soldiers in the Zaporozhye region

A Russian serviceman of the evacuation group of the Southern Military District with the call sign Orin said that during the assault in the Zaporizhia region, he carried out 20 wounded soldiers from the line of contact under continuous fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

"There was an assault when he carried out 20 wounded people. 20 people is almost a day without sleeping <... > While you are dragging it, there is constant fire, the mortar is constantly working, and the "bird" is dropping, respectively," Orin shared in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to him, the difficulty was that the distance from one forest belt to another could be 700-900 m. At the same time, the dangerous moment of evacuating the wounded is crossing an open area where the enemy is firing, including with the use of drones.

"If it's Russian, it means he will lead us, but if not, they will shoot us."
