Russian forward Kirill Kaprizov of the Minnesota Wild reached the 400-point mark in his career in the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season in a home match with San Jose. This was announced on October 27 on the league's website.
"Kaprizov scored the 400th point of his career (190 goals, 210 assists) in the 329th match. He is the fastest player in the history of the Wild to reach this milestone," the publication says.
The match ended with a score of 6:5 in favor of San Jose. In 10 matches this season, 28-year-old Kaprizov scored five goals and provided nine assists.
The previous record was held by Marian Gaborik (472 games), Sport-Express notes.
Earlier, on October 26, the hockey club (HC) "Utah" beat "Minnesota" in the NHL regular season match with a score of 6:2.
