Russians who were supposed to receive benefits and salaries during the holidays from November 1 to November 4 will receive them ahead of schedule. This was announced on October 27 by Svetlana Bessarab, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs.

"If the day of payment of wages falls on a weekend or a holiday, the employer is obliged to pay the salary on the last working day," she said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
