Russian President Vladimir Putin, taking part in the Russian-American summit, which took place in August at the Elmendorf-Richardson military base in Alaska, confirmed Moscow's readiness to work on resolving the conflict in Ukraine based on the concept proposed by the United States. This was announced on October 26 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
