- Zelensky admitted to the problems that arise during the production of Flamingo missiles
The production of Flamingo-type missiles, which were supposed to enter the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), is hampered by technical problems. This was announced on October 26 by Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky.
"There was a technological problem in the production of Flamingos. There is a delay in financing," he said in a telephone conversation with the leading Ukrainian TV channel TSN.
The Ukrainian president clarified that despite this, the order, in his opinion, will be completed by the end of this year. He also said that the United States currently "has no plans" to transfer long-range Tomahawk missiles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Swiss newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ) reported on October 18 that over the summer of 2025, the volume of EU military supplies for Kiev's needs was reduced by 57%. In addition, the volume of military aid from all countries helping Ukraine was about 40% lower than in the first half of the year.
