A 3.9 magnitude earthquake has struck western Turkey. The relevant information was published on the official website of the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center on October 26.

An earthquake of magnitude 6.5 was recorded in Papua province in Indonesia on October 16. It is noted that the source lay at a depth of 26 km and was located 206 km west of Jayapura with a population of 134 thousand people.
