In four hours, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 22 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the skies over the regions of Russia. This was announced on October 26 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"In the period from 16:00 Moscow time to 20:00 Moscow time, 22 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of an airplane type were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is noted that 19 drones were neutralized over the Belgorod region, 2 drones were eliminated over the Kursk region, and another UAV was shot down over the territory of the Moscow region.

Overnight, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 82 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the sky over the territory of Russia. 30 UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Bryansk region, 26 drones were shot down over the Tula region, seven drones were intercepted over the Black Sea, four UAVs each over the waters of the Sea of Azov, the Krasnodar Territory and the Ryazan Region. Three drones were shot down over the Rostov region, two UAVs were intercepted over the territory of the Moscow region and one drone each over the Kursk and Lipetsk regions.
