The air defense forces shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) flying towards Moscow. This was announced on October 26 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"The air defense Ministry shot down a drone flying to Moscow. Emergency services specialists are working at the crash site," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
