Russia is always open to honest and equal partnership. This was announced on October 26 by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

"As President [Russian Federation Vladimir] Putin has repeatedly noted Putin, <...> there are no unfriendly, hostile nations for us. Neither in the West, nor in the East. We always remain open to honest, equal partnership with all those who, like us, are guided by their own national interests," Lavrov said at the International Cooperation Forum.

He also noted the importance of building interstate cooperation based on the principles of the UN Charter.

Earlier in the day, Putin said that the efforts of public diplomacy contribute to ensuring Russia's legitimate interests in the international arena. In addition, the head of state noted that with the help of public diplomacy, cooperation between the Russian Federation and like-minded countries and allies is being strengthened in order to build a multipolar world order.
