The main challenge for Russia remains countering the forces that rely on aggression. This was stated on October 26 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, answering a question from Izvestia at the International Cooperation Forum.

"Such challenges are faced not only by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but by everyone who really follows the path of cooperation, who defends the truth. <...> There are a huge number of forces, people, and movements <...> that rely <...> on aggression, on war, and see conflicts as a breeding ground for themselves." Zakharova said, answering a question about the key tasks facing the Russian Foreign Ministry.
