The number of injured in a bus accident in the Belogorsky district of the Amur region has increased to 10. This was announced on October 26 by the State Traffic Inspectorate for the region.
"The police are establishing the circumstances of a traffic accident that occurred today in the Belogorsky district," the department's Telegram channel says.
According to investigators, on Sunday morning, October 26, on the 20th km of the highway "Entrance to Blagoveshchensk", a Yutong ZK 693 passenger bus and a Hino 500 sound control truck collided. There were 26 people on the bus, including a child.
"According to preliminary data, the driver of the Yotong bus, born in 1978, died while being transported to a medical facility. Another 10 people, including the truck driver, were taken to the hospital with injuries," the ministry said.
The accident in the Belogorsky district of the Amur region became known earlier that day. Initially, four victims were reported. Traffic on this section is difficult, specialists are working to establish the circumstances of the accident.
