A fighter of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation told about the capture of a militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by accident

A serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) surrendered to Russian units after accidentally mistaking his dugout for a Russian one. This was announced on October 26 by a fighter from the Southern Military District with the call sign Akulenok.

According to him, this situation occurred during the execution of his unit's operation to storm Ukrainian dugouts in the Konstantinovsky direction in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

"They took a dugout, two (soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine — Ed.) captive, the crew (grenade launcher — ed.) MK-19. I jumped into the dugout, opened fire, they dropped their weapons and surrendered. When we went into their dugout, the third one came. He thought that his people were there, and there we were. He surrendered himself, he has nowhere to go," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
