The calculation of the Metis anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM) of the Zapad motorized rifle regiment destroyed the personnel and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Krasnolimansk area of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on October 26 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It is specified that enemy targets were discovered during aerial reconnaissance. Having received the combat mission, the crew secretly moved to the firing position to carry out the strike. They used the features of the landscape and shelter to disguise themselves. Operating in close proximity to the enemy, the fighters quickly deployed the Metis complex and launched precision guided missiles.

After the shot, the fortified point was destroyed. This served as a signal for the assault units to advance. The fighters quickly occupied the territory and began to clean up, finally consolidating the success of the operation.

"We are hitting mainly strongholds. <...> Everything depends on the intelligence, our task is to come, take a position, establish the most likely area from where the equipment can move. As soon as the target appears, we go out, work out, leave," a senior ATGM operator with the call sign Bees told about his work.
