On October 25, US President Donald Trump appealed to the Palestinian Hamas movement to return the bodies of the hostages within the next 48 hours, and also threatened it with measures if this did not happen.

"Hamas will have to start returning the bodies of the dead hostages, including two Americans, as soon as possible, or other countries involved in this Great Peace will take action. <...> Let's see what they will do in the next 48 hours. I am following this very closely," the US president wrote on his page on the Truth Social network.

According to him, there is currently a "strong" peace in the Middle East, which, according to Trump, has a "good chance" of becoming eternal.

On October 21, the press service of the American Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the opening of a coordination center in Israel to monitor compliance with agreements between the parties. The next day, it became known that British military personnel led by a high-ranking general had also been sent there to assist the US military.

At the same time, in a statement by a member of the movement's politburo, Izzat al-Rishka, published on October 19, it was reported that Hamas confirms its commitment to the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
