The survey showed an increase in German residents' distrust of Merz
The rating of confidence in the work of the German government and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz among the population of the country continues to decline. This was reported on September 27 by the Bild newspaper with reference to the results of a survey conducted by the INSA sociological institute.
"66% of Germans are dissatisfied with the work of the federal government," the article says.
It is specified that this percentage value has become a record. Only a third of Germans (32%) believe that the government under Merz's leadership will be able to work out the full legislative term until 2029.
