People's Artist of Russia, theater and film actor Sergei Ugryumov, in an interview with Izvestia on October 25, said that Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Alexei Zolotnitsky was phenomenally skilled in acting.
The actor shared that at the beginning of his theatrical career Zolotnitsky was a real example for him.
"Zolotnitsky, of course, was such a prominent figure, despite the fact that he did not play such significant roles <...> He was phenomenally skilled in acting, of course," said Ugryumov, speaking about the artist's dubbing work.
The actor expressed his condolences to Zolotnitsky's family and friends, as well as to the audience, who appreciated his amazing dubbing.
Zolotnitsky's death at the age of 80 became known on the same day. Zolotnitsky played the role of Rogers in the movie "Ten Little Niggers", played the main bandit in the 1990s crime drama "Train to Brooklyn" and starred in the cult "Black Square". However, his contribution to the art of cinema was multifaceted.
