Volunteer SVO Pesenka told about helping the special operation soldiers
On October 25, Elena Panchenko, a volunteer of the special military operation (SVO) with the call sign Pesenka, told Izvestia how she got to SVO, why she decided to stay there and help soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as well as how she helps deliver humanitarian aid.
"Me and a few other girls from the Trans-Baikal Territory, we were pioneers. We decided to collect a little cargo, but in the end we got two large wagons of cargo. And we went there, to our OWN place," said Pesenka.
The woman noted that after an April business trip in the area of the special operation, she decided to quit her permanent job and move to Donbass, and also expressed gratitude to the military personnel who provided her with housing. Pesenka added that her task is to find the vehicles, contact the commanders of the units, military units, ask for the vehicles and then deliver the cargo to the territory of the DPR from the Rostov region.
According to the woman, during her first trip to Donbass, she came under fire, the incoming flights were heard nearby, after which she turned up the music in the car and began to sing. That's how her call sign appeared.
"Thanks to the Guran detachment for the humanitarian aid delivered: thermal imagers, silencers. Victory will be ours!" one of the soldiers in the special operation zone emphasized.
Earlier, on October 23, it became known about the end of the next campaign to collect humanitarian aid in the North-Western Administrative District (NWAO). Since the beginning of the year, residents and volunteers of the North Caucasus Federal District have shipped more than 400 tons of humanitarian cargo.
