In six hours, the Air defense forces destroyed six drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the sky over the regions of the Russian Federation

In six hours, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed six drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the skies over the regions of Russia. This was announced on October 25 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"From 9:00 Moscow time to 15:00 Moscow time, six Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is noted that five drones were shot down over the territory of the Bryansk region, and another drone was neutralized over the Moscow region.

On the same day, the Ministry of Defense reported that last night the air defense forces eliminated 121 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was clarified that 20 drones were intercepted over the territory of the Rostov region, 19 over the Volgograd region, and 17 more over the Bryansk region. In addition, 12 drones were shot down in the sky over the Kaluga region, and 11 more over the Smolensk region.

Also, nine vehicles were neutralized over the Belgorod region and the territory of the Moscow region, seven of which, as emphasized in the department, were heading towards the capital. Eight UAVs were shot down over the Voronezh and Leningrad regions, two each over Novgorod, Ryazan and Tambov, and one each over Tver and Tula.
