Coca-Cola Company extended trademark rights in Russia for 10 years
The Coca-Cola Company, an American manufacturer of soft drinks, has extended trademark rights in Russia for 10 years. This was reported on October 25 by TASS with reference to an extract from the open register of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS).
According to the published information, the company extended the application until August 14, 2035. Trademarks were registered according to Class No. 32 of the International Classification of Goods and Services (ICTS). It includes categories such as soft drinks and syrups for their manufacture.
The publication notes that the first application for the Coke trademark was received in May 1946. Since then, the company has extended the rights to this trademark many times.
On September 24, it was reported that Coca-Cola could lose its trademark rights in Russia in October. It was noted that the patent expires on October 31 of this year. Previously, the copyright holder has repeatedly extended the validity of the trademark in Russia.
