American automaker Chrysler Stellantis announced the recall of 291.6 thousand cars in the United States due to overheating of the radiator fan circuit, which may cause it to fail. This was reported on October 25 by Reuters with reference to the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

"Chrysler is recalling 291.6 vehicles in the United States due to overheating of the radiator fan electrical circuit," the publication says.

Earlier, Stellantis had already recalled 298.5 thousand vehicles in the country due to a defect in the gearbox cable, which could cause the car to roll back in the parking position (P).

On September 26, the Tagesspiegel newspaper reported that German automaker BMW AG would recall 136,000 vehicles in Germany and 195,000 in the United States due to engine starter problems that could cause the car to catch fire. BMW 330i 2019-2021, BMW Z4 2019-2022, BMW 530i 2020-2022, X3, X4 BMW 430i, BMW 230i 2022, as well as some Toyota Supra 2020-2022 models with German starters will be subject to the recall campaign.
