"The Young Guard team and I went to the central avenue of our capital and unfurled the 200-meter flag of our Donetsk People's Republic," said Sergey Dobrovolsky, head of the Young Guard of United Russia in the DPR.

The action is timed to coincide with the Day of the Flag of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and is designed to unite residents around the idea of peace, independence and national identity. In honor of the holiday, night events were also held: a movie night and an event on the history of the flag. They were also visited by a large number of people.

"These guys were caught up in those events from a very young age, they were caught up in the constant shelling of our city. There are guys from Petrovsky district, Kirovsky district, Kuibyshevsky district, who have been shelled by the Nazis since 2014. Therefore, this flag is of great importance to them," Dobrovolsky shared.

On September 30, a branch of the House of the Peoples of Russia opened in Donetsk, designed to unite all the nationalities of the country. The opening of the House of the Peoples of Russia is also planned in the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR) next year, and then similar spaces will be opened in the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions.
