Two people died in an accident in the Mokshansky district of the Penza region. This was announced on October 25 by the State Traffic Inspectorate for the region.

"Police officers are establishing the circumstances of a fatal traffic accident in the Moksha district," the department's Telegram channel says.

According to the preliminary version of the investigation, on Saturday, October 25, at 4:45 a.m. Moscow time, on the 595th km of the Federal Highway M5 URAL, the driver of a Haval car ran into a light pole, after which the car slid into a ditch, followed by overturning of the vehicle.

As a result of the incident, two passengers, a man born in 1993 and a boy born in 2025, died on the spot from their injuries. Two more people, the driver and a passenger, a woman born in 1991 and a boy born in 2019, were injured. It is noted that after providing medical assistance, the victims were released.

Police officers are working at the scene, clarifying all the circumstances of the incident, the agency said.

On the same day, it was reported that a girl died in the Taishetsky district of the Irkutsk region as a result of a vehicle overturning off the road. It was noted that a 37-year-old woman lost control of a VAZ 2107 car, after which she died on the spot before the ambulance arrived. In addition, it was reported that the woman did not have a driver's license.
