The fire occurred as a result of a UAV attack on the Volgograd region.
A fire broke out in the Volgograd region as a result of falling debris from Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles. This was announced on October 25 by the governor of the region Andrey Bocharov.
"As a result of the fall of UAV debris in the Novonikolaevsky district, a fire was recorded on the territory of the Balashovskaya power line substation," the official channel of the Volgograd Region administration quoted the governor as saying on the Telegram channel.
It is specified that the fire was promptly extinguished. Damage to a private house was recorded in the Svetloyarsk district.
On October 25, Voronezh Region Governor Alexander Gusev announced that the air defense forces and electronic warfare (EW) systems had destroyed at least eight UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the region. It was clarified that there were no casualties or damage.
