French biathlete Simon sentenced to prison for theft

Multiple winner of the biathlon World Championships and Olympic medalist, Frenchwoman Julia Simon, confessed to stealing a credit card. This was reported on October 24 by the newspaper Le Dauphiné Libéré.

Julia Simon appeared before the Albertville Criminal Court on Friday, October 24, on charges of theft and credit card fraud of her teammate Justine Brezaz-Boucher, as well as two other victims. We are talking about the purchase of expensive Go Pro equipment, which was delivered to her home in Beauforton.

The court found the athlete guilty and sentenced her to three suspended months in prison, as well as a fine of €15,000.
