Access to the VKontakte social network is blocked on the territory of Belarus — the decision to restrict it was made on the recommendation of the State Security Committee (KGB) of the republic. On October 24, the corresponding message was published on the website of the State Inspectorate of the Republic of Belarus for Telecommunications (BELGIE).

"Based on the submission of the State Security Committee, access to the information resource is limited," the report says.

According to the data of the BELGIE, responsible for supervision of telecommunications, the identifier vk.com He was added to the "Restricted Access List" on October 24, 2025.
