In recent years, there has been a trend towards eating meat with incomplete roasting, including steaks, steaks, cutlets, and raw fish dishes, but this approach to gastronomy is not always safe. Alexander Umnov, a lecturer at the Department of Surgery at the Medical Faculty of the State University of Education, told about this on Friday, October 24.

According to the expert, insufficiently heat-treated meat of Medium and Medium Rare grade may contain pathogenic microorganisms such as campylobacter. They usually live in the intestines of cattle, but after its death they migrate to muscle tissues, and from there they can enter the human body.

He clarified that infection can lead to the development of campylobacteriosis, characterized by a wide range of clinical manifestations, including arthritis, myocarditis, enterocolitis, meningitis, and even spontaneous abortion in pregnant women.

"It should be noted that if the conditions of deep freezing and careful heat treatment are met, Campylobacter and other pathogens are usually eliminated. However, even in this case, a certain risk remains," the expert warned in a conversation with Lenta.Ru .

Umnov warned that helminths such as bovine tapeworm may be present in beef and veal. And teniarrhosis caused by this parasite leads to nutritional deficiencies, general deterioration of health and the development of a number of symptoms, including irritability, insomnia, fatigue, headaches, tachycardia, hypotension, allergic reactions, epigastric discomfort, vomiting, flatulence, diarrhea and hunger pains.

"Raw meat can also lead to infection with salmonellosis or campylobacteriosis, which can cause severe poisoning, dehydration and even death," concluded Umnov.

In turn, Antonina Starodubova, the chief freelance nutritionist of the capital, told the Moscow City News agency on October 20 that, contrary to popular belief, eating jelly does not lead to increased collagen synthesis in the body, and regular overeating of this and other dishes can lead to overweight, obesity and other chronic diseases.

On October 8, nutritionist Olga Chuntonova emphasized the danger of detecting salmonella in ground chicken. 360.ru .

On September 18, nutritionist Dmitry Semiryadov recommended starting meals with meat, fish or legumes to overcome hunger. He noted that protein is digested quickly, so you need to eat it first. The expert also advised deceiving the brain with snacks and eating at the same time. According to Semiryadov, this habit will reduce the risk of breakdowns.
