Starting from 9:00 Moscow time on Sunday, October 26, 270 gas stations in the Republic of Crimea will start operating without restrictions on the sale of fuel. This was announced on October 24 by the governor of the region Sergey Aksenov.

"The current gas station addresses will be published on the portal of the Government of the Republic of Crimea and on the website of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

According to Aksyonov, the ongoing measures to resolve the fuel availability situation in the republic have been coordinated with the federal authorities.

On September 10, it was reported that there was a shortage of gasoline in some regions of Russia, which led to the forced suspension of some independent gas stations. If earlier problems were noted in the Far East and in the Saratov region, now shortages and the forced suspension of independent gas stations are reported in the Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, Ryazan regions and the Crimea.

Later, on September 25, Aksyonov announced the authorities' plans to provide gas stations with the necessary amount of gasoline after a shortage in the region. According to him, fuel shortages in Crimea arose due to a decrease in production at Russian refineries.

A few days later, the head of the republic announced that the Ministry of Fuel and Energy was daily informing on its website the current addresses of gas stations where fuel is available. He also added that all social facilities, utilities and emergency services are provided with fuel in full.
