Air defense systems destroyed 12 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in three hours. This was announced on October 24 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"From 15:00 Moscow time to 18:00 Moscow time, 12 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems on duty: nine over the territory of the Belgorod region and three over the territory of the Kursk region," the department's Telegram channel reported.

Vladimir Putin announced the liberation of 212 settlements this year.

Earlier in the day, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced the destruction of three drones heading towards the capital. According to him, all relevant operational services are working at the scene.
