On October 22, Russian diplomats helped 47 Russians and their closest Palestinian relatives leave the Gaza Strip. This was announced on October 23 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"On October 22, 2025, the representative Office of the Russian Federation to the Palestinian National Authority, together with the Russian Embassy in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, assisted 47 Russian citizens and their immediate Palestinian relatives in leaving the Gaza Strip," Zakharova told TASS.

She specified that there were 15 Russians among them, and 32 Palestinians.
