Leonid Dzyunik, the ex-producer of the Tatu group, denied rumors of a street attack, and his deteriorating health was provoked by threats received after statements about singer Alla Pugacheva. He told Izvestia about this on October 24.

"I have a heart condition, so surgery was necessary. [The deterioration of my condition] was provoked by two calls I received, on Sunday and on Monday," Dzyunik explained.

According to him, after a television program about Pugacheva was released, they tried to intimidate him.

"If you don't shut up, we'll shut you up," Junik quoted the threats made against him.

Earlier, the media reported that on October 20, the producer was hospitalized allegedly after a street attack. It was clarified that he needed surgical intervention.

On October 24, Dzyunik told Izvestia that he was in the hospital after surgery. The reason for the hospitalization was not known at the time.
