VK Tech launches Project management and Collaboration solution in VK WorkSpace

The VK WorkSpace Projects solution will help companies effectively plan and perform work: manage tasks, including through automation scenarios, monitor the fulfillment of strategic goals and the progress of projects at any level — from large initiatives to current work.

VK WorkSpace projects are one of the collaboration tools within the VK WorkSpace platform. The workspace includes a task manager with support for various views: kanban boards, Gantt charts and tables. You can not only keep track of current affairs, but also build analytics on tasks, projects, strategic initiatives, or labor costs. The knowledge base allows you to make your work convenient: document processes, record meeting results, store regulations, instructions, presentations, and other corporate information. You can transfer data from other systems to Projects, such as Jira and Confluence.

The service allows the manager to track progress on a strategic and tactical level. For example, the function of building an OKR (Objectives and Key Results) and a goal tree, cascading these goals into departments, and setting and monitoring KPIs is available. At the operational level, goals can be translated into specific tasks, distributed among performers, and tracked in real time.

VK WorkSpace Projects is available to both current users of the platform and new clients in the form of a separate module. In the current version, the service can be deployed in the company's contour (on premise), and a cloud version is planned to be implemented in early 2026.

The service supports complex automation scenarios to automate the routine and free up time for creative tasks. They can be assembled in a graphical editor or implemented with scripts to automatically assign performers, change task statuses according to specified conditions, send notifications, create related tasks, and much more.
