A pensioner died in a fire in a wooden apartment building in the Amur region.

In the Oktyabrsky district of the Amur region, a woman born in 1958 died as a result of a fire in a wooden house. This is reported by the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

The fire occurred on the night of Friday, October 24, in the village of Yekaterinoslavka. A one-story house with two apartments caught fire on Lugovaya Street.

According to PriamurMedia news agency, even before the arrival of rescuers, neighbors carried the landlady out of the burning room. The woman could not be saved, she died.

The fire area was 9 square meters. m. Two combat crews were involved in extinguishing the fire.

On October 20, a fire broke out in a semi-detached apartment building in the village of Novoangarsk in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. As a result, a woman died. The investigator of the Ministry of Emergency Situations found out that the cause of the fire was a short circuit in an electric heating boiler.
