Stray dogs killed three goats in the village of Krugloye, Lipetsk region. Information about what is happening in the Lev Tolstovsky district was received by the editorial office of GOROD48 from local residents.

"Stray dogs came to the house of Vitaly Kolosov and Elena Orekhova twice, in the morning Vitaly rescued these goats, and when the family arrived from work, the goats were already dead, and two were not found at all," the appeal says.

According to local residents, stray dogs also run in the village of Zolotukha, and they have also been seen in the village of Ostry Kamen. Residents complain that the head of the village council does not take any measures. The villagers are afraid for their children and cattle.

The village of Krugloye belongs to the Ostrokamensky village Council. As the local authorities told the publication, in 2025 this is the first appeal for stray animals on their territory, although they rarely visited in previous years. It happens that at the end of summer, Muscovite summer residents leave their dogs and the pets become stray.

The application for stray dogs was received by the village council on the evening of October 21. The very next morning, she was transferred to the district for execution. The contract for the capture of animals is signed by the municipality.

Earlier, Izvestia wrote that Russia wants to expand the list of dangerous dog breeds by adding Rottweilers, alabais, German Shepherds, huskies, Dobermans and bull terriers. The amendments to the bill were prepared by a group of State Duma deputies.
