The singers of the Sretensky Monastery Choir, in an interview with the project "Frankly with Tatarka", hosted by Lilya Abramova (Tatarka FM), said that the oppression of Orthodox priests in Ukraine is the lot of the weak.

"Objectively speaking, people who have guns are stronger at the moment, just from the point of view of armament. But destroying a weak person from the inside is, in fact, the lot of very weak people. The stronger a person is, the bigger his personality, the more noble and forgiving he is towards those who cannot stand up for themselves," they shared.

The singers also expressed regret over attempts to force an alien religion on people. They expressed the opinion that the ministry of the church is based on the unity of people, especially when they are united by one common cause and beliefs within their faith.

In addition, the singers told about the travel documentary "Awakening", which was shot together with the Institute for the Development of the Internet (IRI) and is dedicated to the team's trip to Donbass.

"When we went there, I want to say this: these are Russian people. Absolutely ours, just like us. But the situation they live in, let's say, turns a person inside out... it doesn't even turn them inside out, but shows what a person is made of, what Russian people are made of. When pressure is put on us, we become stronger," the team believes.
