During the liberation of Pershotravnevoye in the Dnipropetrovsk region, military personnel took control of the defense area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with a length of more than 4 km. This was announced on October 24 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is specified that the operation was carried out by units of the 64th separate motorized rifle brigade of the Vostok group of forces. Thus, it was possible to create conditions for the development of an offensive in the Dnipropetrovsk direction, the agency notes.

The liberation of Bologovka in the Kharkiv region, Prominye in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and Pershotravnevoye in the Dnipropetrovsk region became known earlier on the same day. In addition, the department noted that in the Kharkov direction, the North group of troops eliminated five electronic warfare (EW) stations, 33 enemy ammunition and materiel depots.
