The business program of the XIII International Sports Forum "Russia – a sporting power" has been published

A business program has been published on the official website of the XIII International Sports Forum "Russia – a Sporting Power" (RSD), which will be held in Samara from November 5-7.

The forum is being held in accordance with the order of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The event is operated by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Samara Region.

"The Russia – Sports Power Forum will be held for the 13th time. During this time, it has become a key platform for uniting the sports community and discussing the tasks outlined by President Vladimir Putin. Today, the digital movement is actively developing in our country, opportunities for adaptive sports are expanding, new facilities are being built as part of a comprehensive state program, and more than 38,000 school sports clubs are operating. The business program of the Forum included these and other relevant areas, and one of the main topics was the development of youth sports. I invite representatives of our country and other countries to join the discussions, share experiences and exchange ideas at the events of Russia as a Sporting Power!" said Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Chairman of the Forum's Organizing Committee.

This year, the RSD focuses on the further development of youth sports, international cooperation and the achievement of national goals for the development of the sports industry.

One of the important topics of the event will be the further promotion of innovative sports, not only in the format of business sessions.: At RSD-2025, an open lesson "Digital Sports: the future that has come today" will be held, which will clearly show the achievements and significance of this sport.

The main theme of the Forum is "Sport for the future: winning together", which emphasizes that success is possible with the fruitful collaboration of all participants in the sports industry. Special attention is paid to accessibility of sports, strengthening relations in the international arena, as well as strategic development of both professional and mass sports.

In 2025, the business program of the event is structured around four key tracks.

"Oh sport, you are the world. International Cooperation" is a track dedicated to the return of Russian athletes to the global arena and the inadmissibility of discrimination in sports, as well as international cooperation, the emergence and development of new formats that unite athletes.

"Ecosystem" – discussions aimed at the development of sports infrastructure, public-private partnership in sports and the introduction of the latest technologies, legal and analytical support for the sports industry.

"Creating a new image of sports" – sessions dedicated to the role of media in the development of sports, the formation of sports brands in the regions, the future of sports cinema and journalism. The participants will raise issues of popularization of sports through cinema, management in sports, and the Russian Premier League will present a new development strategy until 2030 at the Forum.

"Sport and Society" is a direction dedicated to the growing role of sports in society, the development of adaptive sports, the possibilities of sports for the rehabilitation of military veterans and people with disabilities, as well as the development of school and student sports and the impact of sports on the education of new generations.

Mikhail Degtyarev, Minister of Sports of Russia, Chairman of the Russian Olympic Committee, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee, noted that the business program of the XIII International Sports Forum "Russia – a Sporting Power" in Samara will be one of the most intense and professionally prepared in the entire history of the event.

International work will be an important part of the program. The first meeting of the Ministers of sports of the countries of the Dialogue on Cooperation in Asia will take place on the sidelines of the RSD, which will address issues of the international sports agenda and strengthening Russia's position in the global sports community, as well as a joint meeting of the athletes' commission of the Russian Olympic Committee and the Athletes' Commission of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus.
