Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday, October 24, congratulated the special forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the 75th anniversary of their formation and noted their ability to fight in the most dangerous areas in the special military operation zone, as well as defend the historical lands of Russia.

"Today, during a special military operation, you are fighting in the most dangerous areas, defending our historical lands — Donbass and Novorossiya," the Kremlin website says.
