- Refugees from Yampol spoke about forcing the Ukrainian Armed Forces to shout Nazi slogans for food
On October 23, refugees from the village of Yampol in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) told Izvestia how the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) forced people to shout Nazi slogans for humanitarian aid.
According to one of the men, residents tried to move along the street as little as possible: they left their homes only if absolutely necessary, and turned for help to those neighbors who could be reached by "running across the street."
Another civilian who managed to escape from the Ukrainian militants, Ruslan, reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were shelling parts of the village using Baba Yaga drones. As he noted, it is almost impossible to hide from these projectiles — they are silent and you can hear their approach only at the moment when they are already intending to strike.
According to the refugee, humanitarian aid delivered to the village was given only if the person who came for it shouted "Glory to Ukraine!"
"They distributed it at first, but then they started bringing less and less (humanitarian aid. — Ed.). <...> They put people in a semicircle, lined up, <...> when they put things out, she (the woman responsible for distributing the cargo. — Ed.) takes pictures of us on the phone <...> and says: "at the start, attention is on full face," that is, as for dogs," one of the refugees named Oleg told Izvestia correspondent Egor Kildibekov.
According to him, in order to leave Yampol and reach representatives of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, his group, consisting of six brave men, had to travel about 40 km — the journey took three days. The refugee added that on the way, one man, wounded by a drone attacking his elderly mother at point-blank range, stepped on a Petal antipersonnel mine, as a result of which his leg was torn off.
"When he was walking, a Ukrainian drone was flying and this guy was killed by a drone. He was rewound, on two sticks (crutches. — Ed.) It was already clear that there was a civilian, it was perfectly visible. They finished him off," Oleg added.
On October 3, the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation reported that, since 2014, 27 thousand civilians have suffered from the crimes of the Kiev regime, of which 7,240 people, including 225 minors, died. The ministry noted that over 1,000 foreign citizens are currently being held accountable in absentia.
