A patent for migrants in Transbaikalia will rise in price by almost a thousand rubles

In the Trans-Baikal Territory, the cost of a labor patent for foreign citizens will increase by almost a thousand rubles. Starting in 2026, its price will rise to 14 thousand rubles per month instead of 13,385 rubles in 2025.

According to the Telegram channel "Deputy of Transbaikalia!", the growth is associated with an increase in the regional coefficient reflecting the peculiarities of the labor market. It was proposed to raise it from 4.3 to 4.76.

The bill has already been approved by deputies of the relevant committee of the regional legislative assembly. The document was recommended to be adopted in two readings at once at the next meeting of the parliament.

According to ChitaMedia news agency, in five years the cost of a labor patent has more than tripled: in 2020, it cost 4,648 rubles. The Regional Ministry of Labor estimated that in 2026, more than 1 billion rubles will be allocated to the regional budget due to patents.

Earlier it was reported that in mid-October, Russian President Vladimir Putin approved the concept of migration policy for 2026-2030. The main provisions include, in particular, the restriction of stay of unemployed and non-studying members of migrant families.
