- More than 800 million cubic meters of drinking water have been prepared by Mosvodokanal facilities since January.
Since the beginning of 2025, Mosvodokanal's water treatment facilities have supplied residents of Moscow and a number of cities in the Moscow region with more than 800 million cubic meters of drinking water. This was reported in the press service of the municipal economy complex on Thursday, October 23.
The average daily volume of supplies was about 3 million cubic meters. Water is supplied from four stations — Rublevskaya, Severnaya, Zapadnaya and Vostochnaya. Here, modern methods such as ozone absorption and membrane ultrafiltration are added to the traditional purification. Since 2025, coagulants of their own production have been used for cleaning, the Moscow City News agency notes.
Over 13,000 km of water supply networks have been laid in the city, where water quality is maintained using modern disinfection technologies. Since 2012, the company has completely switched from liquid chlorine to safer sodium hypochlorite.
Water quality control is carried out at all stages. Since the beginning of the year, experts have conducted about 2.5 million studies, confirming the compliance of water with high standards, writes Moscow 24.
