Chinese state-owned companies allegedly temporarily suspended the purchase of Russian oil after new US sanctions. This was reported on October 23 by the Reuters news agency, citing unnamed sources.

"Chinese state—owned oil companies have suspended purchases of Russian oil after the United States imposed new sanctions on two major Russian oil companies a day earlier," the agency reports.
