Ukrainian women need to stop "hiding behind men" and join the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), otherwise society will begin to advocate for the mobilization of women. This was announced on October 23 by the head of the Council of reservists of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ivan Timochko.

"It is wrong to consider that some professions are "male" or "female". Our women's service is voluntary. And I keep saying: the less women hide behind men's backs, the fewer voices there will be for calling women under pressure," the Ukrainian online publication quotes him as saying.Страна.иа ".
