Geely talked about the configuration of the new hybrid for Russia

The Geely EX5 EM-i front-wheel drive hybrid crossover will be available at a number of authorized dealers in two versions, Pro and Max. This is reported in a press release of the Chinese brand, received by Izvestia on October 23.

The initial configuration of the model includes six airbags, 18-inch wheels, fully LED optics, a multimedia system with a 15.4-inch display and integration of iOS smartphones, a six-speaker audio system, climate control, adaptive cruise control. The seat adjustments are mechanical, the interior is upholstered in eco-leather combined with soft plastic. The "winter" package already in the database includes heating of the front seats, steering wheel, electric heating of the entire windshield surface and windshield washer nozzles.

The top-of-the-line equipment offers inch-larger wheels, an all-round view system, and front parking sensors. The interior of such a car has a different color finish and atmospheric lighting. There is an electric mirror folding drive, an intelligent high beam control system, a panoramic roof with a sunroof, an electric tailgate, a projection display, and wireless charging for mobile devices. The front seats are equipped with electric controls and ventilation. The rear row is complemented by a central headrest, a folding armrest and heated seats.

The Geely EX5 EM-i in the Max version is equipped with an extended driver's assistant system, which, in particular, includes a blind spot monitoring system and a danger warning system when opening doors.

The crossover will be offered to Russian customers in six body colors: white, silver metallic, gray metallic, black metallic, blue metallic and green metallic.

The EX5 EM-i power plant is built according to a series-parallel scheme. The traction electric motor develops 218 hp, and accelerates the car from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 8.1 seconds. In fully electric mode, the range reaches 111 km on the WLTP cycle. During long trips, an internal combustion engine with a volume of 1.5 liters and a power of 99 hp is used, which not only recharges the battery, but can also directly drive the front wheels. In hybrid mode, the maximum range of the car is 943 km on the WLTP cycle.

Earlier, the Russian representative office of Geely acknowledged problems related to incorrect engine operation on some models.
