The story spread on social media about a one-year-old child whose parents got a tattoo to participate in a Mellstroyblogging contest is not true. As the Izvestia source found out on October 23, the video was staged.

In the material that appeared the day before, it was shown how a baby is tattooed while crying. The authors of the video claimed that it was necessary to win the contest, organized by the wanted Belarusian blogger Mellstroi.

However, the child's mother denied this information, explaining that there was actually no tattoo — the drawing was made with an ordinary pen, and the baby's crying was caused by fatigue and a desire to sleep. In support of her words, the woman provided a video where there are no inscriptions on the child's hands.
