Filling of underground gas storage facilities has been suspended in Ukraine

Ukraine has stopped pumping gas into underground storage facilities due to damage to the gas transmission system and the suspension of imports through Poland. This was reported on October 23 by the RBC-Ukraine agency with reference to the data of the Ukrainian GTS Operator.

"Ukraine's gas system has been severely damaged and almost completely destroyed. The country was not ready for such consequences, and this endangers the entire heating season," said Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexei Goncharenko (listed in the Russian Federation as a terrorist and extremist).
