FPI announces open selection of projects among young scientists

On the eve of the V Congress of Young Scientists, which will be held on November 26-28, 2025 in the federal territory of Sirius, the Foundation for Advanced Research announces the launch of a competition among young and ambitious specialists with the support of the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Innovators (VOIR). The purpose of the competition is to stimulate promising developments, encourage an active scientific and technical search for new ideas for the development of domestic biomedical, aerospace, land and marine technologies, advanced electronics, artificial intelligence, robotics and the development of professional competencies.

Applications can be submitted by both young research scientists (individuals) and research teams. The main prize – the winner(s) of the competition receives the preferential right to implement their idea, solution in the form of a project or a search event in accordance with the procedure and on the terms defined by the regulatory documents of the Foundation, as well as the preferential right to be included in the personnel reserve of the Foundation.

The competition is held from October 13 to November 28, 2025 in two stages.

FPI has been cooperating with leading technical universities for more than ten years, which has led to the development of a number of breakthrough technologies: the D.I. Mendeleev Moscow State Technical University has developed a system for recording, reading and storing information based on quartz glass for archival data storage systems, Bauman Moscow State Technical University has developed a technology for prototyping metamaterials and adaptive materials of a new type. For example, the Southern Federal University has developed a system of medical and psychophysiological support for the professional reliability of staff. The Foundation's project teams, including specialized laboratories and working groups, have been established and are successfully operating at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, MIPT, D.I. Mendeleev Moscow State Technical University, Southern Federal University, N.G. Chernyshevsky SSU and other universities.
