EU imposes ban on transactions with several CIS banks
The European Union (EU), as part of the 19th package of sanctions, imposes a ban on transactions with a number of banks from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. This is stated in the resolution of the EU Council, published in the Official Journal of the EU.
As part of the 19th package, the EU banned European financial institutions from any transactions with banks in the above-mentioned countries.
Earlier in the day, the head of the European Diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, announced that the EU had adopted the 19th package of sanctions against Russia.
