The idea of creating a special tribunal against Russia in Ukraine by the European Union (EU) is destructive for its creators and undermines the principles of international law. This was announced on October 23 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, during a briefing, answering a question from Izvestia.

"This is a mechanism of contract justice, which has nothing to do with the establishment of truth, justice, law and order. It is designed to find and punish those who are objectionable," she said.
