The press service of the city administration promised to comment on what is happening later. The agency notes that a few years ago, the authorities planned to build a business district on the site of the vegetable warehouse. The project implementation dates were not announced.

Meanwhile, scandals regularly occur around the vegetable store. So, in 2020, a stabbing took place on its territory. The reason for the conflict was the new rules established by the owners of the facility. In March 2021, there was a shooting brawl in a cafe near the base.

The agency writes that the vegetable warehouse is associated with the name of the convicted former vice-mayor of Yekaterinburg Viktor Konteev.

At the end of the summer, it was reported that the Ural Federal Roads Administration had found a contractor for the construction of an overpass on the Yekaterinburg— Shadrinsk—Kurgan highway. The cost of the facility will be 1.1 billion rubles. The construction will be carried out near the village of Loginovo. The overpass will pass over the railway, which will reduce traffic jams in front of the tracks.
